I have a Fan-Tastic fan , and I was surprised that you can't fully open the lid underneath. Looks strange as it's the same company that makes the vent fan and vent cover. It's easy to install, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't have a mechanical flair. Watch YouTube videos and try to collect everything the first time, including something for the litter, like paper towels and old caulk, and something disposable to put a hunting gun on that is weighted so it doesn't get caught in the wind is blown away. do not ask. I've come across straight, Phillips and hex head screws. It is also helpful to use a cordless drill for removal. You look great on my roof.
