Cool White (6000K) - Lighting and Ceiling Fans

The only kitchen light was an overhead light; stood in front of the counter blocking part of the light. I ordered these lights at 230 lumens each, hoping to bring more useful light onto the countertop. In the package, the headlights are not impressive. However, when installed, they provide amazing countertop lighting. Installing the lights took about an hour as I drilled holes in the base of the cabinet to hide the wiring. Although the 3M strips are pretty strong I also used screws to attach the lights. The lamps illuminate the counter (and even part of the range!) with ample work light, instantly enhancing the lighting. A few things to keep in mind: (1) only 1 out of 6 lights will be activated by motion and it has to be the one connected to mains power - the rest of the lights will be powered by the main light; (2) Lights must be set linearly (motion light-light-light-light-light) starting with a motion activated light - you CANNOT use it as a center light and run the light in 2 directions. (as in the "T" formation: light-light-movement light-light-light); (3) Tiny screws are included in the light itself, not in the packaging with plugs and self-adhesive cable clips, so care must be taken when opening the packaging of each light. (The screws are fairly small (requires a #0 Phillips screwdriver) and I replaced them with #6 1/2" wood screws to install in addition to the 3M strips, not realizing the effects of moisture would have on the adhesive strips. )
