Wanted to wait a bit before writing a review. In my opinion, a week, 30 days or even 45 days is not enough to really appreciate the performance, sound quality and longevity of an audio device. I bought my AIWAs in February 2021 so although it's been a long time I can give them a really fair review now (actually forgot, been very busy). What can I say, the sound quality is definitely impressive. I don't consider myself an audiophile, but having worked with musicians, recording studios, stages, video production, music videos, and high-end audio gear, I know what sounds good and what doesn't. My AIWAs give me full bodied, rich music of all genres, rock, country, oldies, pop, rap, originals, R&B, 70's, 80's, 90's and podcasts. Today's music also sounds great due to advances in recording and my headphones are perfect for sound reproduction. Bass doesn't boom or tangle, it's tight, punchy, just enough bass to resonate. Mids and highs are equally good. I love the sound of the brass section in the music, through my wireless headphones the sound is amazing, sometimes the shrill sound is so realistic. If the vocals are properly recorded, when you close your eyes you will feel that the singer is next to you. The left/right separation is amazing, you hear the lead guitar in the left earcup, the rhythm guitar follows and the keyboard fills both sides. When you hear a bass guitar strum clearly in the music, you know your headphones are the sentinels. These are by far the best headphones I've ever owned. I use these in place of my $400 full size headphones. The battery life is pretty good. I walk an hour or more every day and don't need to charge it, but do do it once every two weeks. I can still hear traffic noise and other noises, so it's safe to use them outside while exercising. You definitely need to use the right size headphones or you won't hear the best sound, the music will leak out and sound tinny, then you need to turn them up, and that's no good. Two of my favorite bands (among many) are Tower of Power and Steely Dan and they sound real and amazing!
