This product was great at first. When I received it, I washed it immediately, following the washing instructions exactly. The first week was great, then it got worse. I started noticing that the cotton was literally seeping out of the fabric and the stitching was starting to unravel. The cotton has started to tangle on the outside of the underside of the cover. Then they started to grow. Tufts of cotton got tangled in my hair on my clothes and fell to the floor. That's ridiculous. I never write reviews but I want to warn people. I really feel like I wasted my money. I wouldn't complain if they just fell off, but they don't. If you try to peel off some of these, the cotton will pull out of the comforter, leaving holes in the fabric. I even tried using a dog hair tape roll and they still came back. I was really excited about my blanket because it was REALLY cute but now I wish I had saved my money. I've been waiting for them to just come loose, but no, now I have to sit down and manually cut off all the tufts because that seems like the only way to salvage this blanket. However, it's really soft, that's the only reason I'm still trying to salvage this blanket.
