Due to the size I thought this would be a perfect replacement for my existing cargo net for my adventure bike's luggage rack. What immediately struck me is that these networks are elastic. superelastic. so stretchy that my backpack, which was a luggage net attached to the back of my bike, was literally hanging from the bike when I got to my destination. I'm so glad I didn't lose it. No matter how hard you pull on the hook, the mesh itself stretches way too much for a smaller bag and isn't the best solution for properly securing items in my opinion. wear and tear) former mesh for my bike. Maybe they're meant to cover a much larger area and *really* need to be stretched to work better, but then I would question the durability and longevity of anything that's regularly stretched to the max. Honestly I could see them stretched out on the roof rack and a bit cramped, but honestly I wouldn't rely on these nets alone to protect something valuable you don't want to tear down. I'm really curious what other reviewers have said. Maybe I can find a better use for them.
