It's perfect. in my review
All metal, no plastic. The thumb screws ride in grooves cut in the main tube. The threads are smooth, no burrs or snags. The Celestron T ring mates perfectly, screwing on smoothly. Nice and heavy. All in all very well made. I was an inspector in aircraft for 40 years. If I tell you it's good, it is. This is good.
