Review on Genuine GM Parts 15-81773 HVAC Blower Control Module by Darrell Shreves

I used this to fix a stuck fan problem (even with the ignition off) on my 2004 Suburban. The designation "GM-Original" is misleading, since the connector on the module is not identical to that of the original GM. However, it does come with a wire harness and instructions, and after splicing the three wires, it works identically to the original. Also, the only difficulty with the installation was removing the two-pin connector from the fan. On the 2004 Suburban, the fan connector is positioned so that it is difficult to depress the latch on the connector. The total time for replacing the module was about an hour. The exchange works great. (This module is only for use with automatic HVAC controller with digital temperature setting display! If you have manual HVAC controller, you will need a "Fan Resistor Module" instead.)
