Review on Portable Puzzle Board Storage Table by Chad Black

Original: Really wanted to rate this higher but. One drawer had a crack which I sealed, all drawers are tight and don't slide out very easily so I sanded them down and under the top felt there was a bead of cured glue on one side, not much but for the price you pay I expect a lot the best. Most of my jigsaw puzzles are 1000 regular sized pieces and will not fit on this board. It can each be 2 pieces shorter. I ended up spending extra money to make a plywood inlay and felt around it simply because I had already thrown the box away and didn't want to return it. With a puzzle of this size, the puzzle pieces don't fit in the drawers, unfortunately I found this out because some of the pieces got snagged and bent and I had a heck of a time trying to get the drawers out. I was planning on giving some of these to family members who also like puzzles, but now NO. It's such a great idea, whoever came up with it didn't consider what a real 1000 piece puzzle is and for the price the construction needs a little more attention. The first picture shows it is too short to fit an extra inch on each side (for regular sized pieces). The second picture was a modification of mine that I made with a plywood inlay and felt and this 1000 piece puzzle comes at the end of the board. Update: After sending it in, the manufacturer got in touch and sent a replacement circuit board that didn't have any defects. They have stated that they are working on making a model to fit the traditional 1000 piece puzzle and I look forward to getting one of these and will then update the review accordingly. This larger size truly holds over 1000 puzzle pieces. Attached is a photo showing the difference between old and new. I can't wait to finish my current puzzle on the old rug and get to work on the new rug. I like being able to hide my puzzle board under my bed when work comes. All drawers slide out smoothly. JD Brands customer service is outstanding. They kept me informed as new mysteries arrived. I gifted it to others, everyone loves it very much. When I share pictures of my finished puzzle, someone always asks about the board.
