Good scale so far We cook a lot at home. In the past I've had trouble getting accurate ingredient counts as scales typically only measure one dimension and are primarily pounds. So if my recipe called for grams or ounces, I would have to do the math ahead of time and convert one measurement to another, which would only add time and extra movement to my cooking, and still the converted number might not be accurate. Wow such nonsense. And lately we've been looking at superfoods. I was looking for some sophisticated gear that would only do the job of measuring what I give it and not showing me any tricks. My first choice was Made in Swiss Shwirtz Mable but it was sold out forever. No wonder it's good. So I dared. It's been a little over a week since we've had it and I'm happy with it so far. Carefully happy. Hoping it doesn't sparkle anytime soon. Initially, measuring very small quantities was a problem. The 100% cacao chocolate we eat comes in small pieces. When I measured the daily ration, I knew I needed about 4 grams per person. I did 1 click on the dial and it would just stay at ZERO. Then I add one more and the number instantly jumps to 4 grams. Measuring small amounts was a bit problematic at first, but surprisingly I only encountered it on my first use. After the scale showed me 2 grams per item and we even checked it in one go, it came out as expected 1 gram))) I also like that I can change the scale right on the spot. He hides so easily. Also, oh so cool and useful, I can keep adding food to the bowl and the number of servings will be adjusted as I go. Some weights simply stop at the initial value and if you need to add or truncate them you have to toggle them on and off for a new close.
