The boxes are a little thin. They come folded so you can easily unfold them and there is a flat piece of sturdy cardboard at the bottom of the box with fabric for support. Drawers just stay in place, no drawer slides out to hold them there. There is no floor support on the device base, the drawers stand on the floor from below. If you have a rug like me, it will take a little more effort to slide the drawers out and back in. My 3 year old is quite strong for her age and has a bit of a hard time getting them out. I thought it was bigger than it really is and it's entirely my fault for not checking the measurements! I'm really glad Amazon offered free home delivery, especially how quickly it arrived! It was VERY easy to install with only 8 screws and 4 metal bars that had to be assembled and secured with a locking mechanism, much like adjustable crutch legs. where you insert the pin and there is a hole in the opposite bar for the pin to slide and snap into. From the moment I opened the box, unpacked the box and assembled it took about 10 minutes. All you need is a Phillips or flathead screwdriver. BERY is easy for one person!
