Very easy to assemble. All you need is a Phillips head. At first I thought it was missing a piece of cardboard (as pictured) but turns out 2 of these have been mysteriously stuck together for over a month so I'm giving this one a higher rating. I personally like these cheap and flexible boxes; because babies are easy to grab and I don't have to worry about hurting myself if they pull the box towards them. UPDATE -- NOT PURCHASED. which I have 15 minutes we get a headache.Not something I want to put in my kids room.Previous review : The smell started to give me a headache. The boxes are a little thin. They come folded so you can easily unfold them and there is a flat piece of sturdy cardboard at the bottom of the box with fabric for support. Drawers just stay in place, no drawer slides out to hold them there. There is no floor support on the device base, the drawers stand on the floor from below. If you have a rug like me, it will take a little more effort to slide the drawers out and back in. My 3 year old is quite strong for her age and has a bit of a hard time

Update: I originally gave this 2 stars, at least for the ease of assembly, but I ordered it in July and by October it was complete destroyed. If he can't handle a one-year-old, what's the point? Also, it is prone to tipping and it is loaded with toys, its top is heavy and cannot be fixed.
