UPDATE 03/24/2014 After contacting the seller literally 3 days ago regarding the warranty on a defective flashlight, the reply came in about 30 minutes. They sent me a replacement under warranty with a prepaid tag to send the defective one back to them. Didn't even have to pay temporarily for a replacement! I already have it in my hands today! Can't keep up with the guarantee response these days! I'll attribute this to an accidental product failure and restore my original 4 stars (read the full review on why I didn't give 5 stars). UPDATE 03/21/2014, 03/08/2014 one of them has already failed. It just started blinking constantly, like a turn signal. I synced it with another to switch the strobe pattern and it started doing it on one side. I've downgraded my rating to 2 stars depending on how the warranty exchange is handled. I'm willing to accept that an element will fail from time to time, even instantly, so we'll see how they deal with it. I will update when I have more information. UPDATE: 01/25/2014 Finally they are installed. This was on a 2009 Chevy Crew Cab. Those trucks have two separate turn signal bulbs so I wanted to remove the bottom one and replace it with these LED strobe lights so there was no need to drill a hole in the double walled headlight housings and back pain was done. The light fitted perfectly in the hole, there was enough space for the screws. I chose not to use the supplied gasket, just silicone around the light so I can penetrate as deeply into the light body as possible. It looks great in it and the body reflects that perfectly. You never know it's there until it's turned on and then it looks good. Much bright! Of course I had to lengthen the wires as I suggested in my original review. If they could make them with 6-10 feet of wire each, they would be perfect and would easily earn 5 stars! This is my only complaint! More than enough light patterns for every taste and easy synchronization. They wire up pretty much like any other big brand hidden LEDs I've worked with. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I was a bit skeptical after first seeing them on this major auction site. You should be careful when purchasing LEDs as quality and brightness can vary widely. I bought it from the same seller through Revain due to Revain's excellent return policy if they aren't as good as I had hoped. Well they arrived today (a day early as the weekend falls between Christmas and New Years). less) and I really wanted to test them. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. They are as bright as the Whelen Vertex (I have a set of those too). Comes with a housing if you want to surface mount it (Vertex usually doesn't) and the turn signal is built into the head and not a separate part of the cable (like Vertex). I can't wait to install them. The only criticism is that the wiring is too short. It's about 6-8 inches. The Vertex has a long strap, which is very useful when you're syncing multiple of them. So be aware that you will be extending 3 wires (maybe 4 if you want to change the switch on the circuit) to connect everything. For the rest I'm happy with that. I can't say anything about the durability of the LEDs at the moment because I just received them. If they last as long as the Vertex (which I've had for 4 years) I'll be perfectly satisfied. They are interesting in that they are Bi-LED, meaning each lighting head has 2 sets of 3 LEDs. Some lightning bolt patterns use them in 2 sets, others use them as one set, which gives some cool options if you order them in two colors and set the patterns to alternate colors. The downside of this is that they are twice as bright (only 3 LEDs are activated at a time). When all 6 LEDs are set to blink, they are bright enough even in daylight! One star deduction for short circuit otherwise it would be a 5 star product!
