Do not buy a scanner if you use a Mac ElCapitan. The software developers of this company have been working on fixing the "No Paper Found" driver errors since the software was released in October 2015. My 9 month old driver was working fine until I downloaded the new Mac ElCapitan software update. The scanner is recognized but I can't scan and get a 'Paper not found' message. An updated driver is available for a temporary fix, but it doesn't work and my scanner is out of warranty. At first I thought something might have gone wrong with the scanner so I bought another one with the same problem on a brand new scanner that came out of the box. I liked my scanner when it worked, but I got tired of waiting for this company to fix the driver. I also recently received an email that they will no longer support regular desktop software. You must purchase an annual cloud software contract. The lowest tier is $50 per year.
