Review on ๐Ÿฐ Bosch Universal Mixers: Enhance your Baking with Cake Paddles by Tim Armstrong

Revainrating 3 out of 5

They work. Sorts. good for small appliance parts and supplies

These spatulas lasted longer than the cookie scoops that came with the mixer. After almost a month of use, the sprockets are still attached. I confess I babysat the pie scoops; any dough with hard objects (chocolate pieces, nuts, etc.) is mixed with the dough hook. I suspect the paddles themselves are more flexible than pie paddles, which increases their chances of survival. Plastic is the same cheap junk that cookie cutters are made of. Make sure the oil is at room temperature before mixing it with it! Unfortunately, the paddles do not quite fit into the mixing bowl. Their use requires frequent scraping of the bowl to incorporate the ingredients. The strength of the Bosch mixer is the motor. All of the third-party accessories I've used are poorly made and designed compared to their Kitchen Aid counterparts.

Pros
  • For use with your cakes, cupcakes, icing and batter
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
