Due to the corona virus I now have to cut my own hair. and I'm sure you see this line over and over again. It trims hair, it has a bunch of attachments (many trimmers don't have these after 1/2 inch) and I'm not sure I really need it, but I have no idea what I'm doing. So I'm glad they are. Start long and work your way down. But the derailleur is VERY easy to trip up, it has 5 speeds with no mention of why it needs more than 1 speed. And there's a strain gauge on it, nowhere says what it is. I suspect it has to do with the loading on the blades. but at speed 7 it's like 2 bars. but after cutting the hair it was 1 bar? I have no idea. I give it a 4 because the button is easy to press and when it does it either slows down and you have to turn it back on or you lean against it and it turns off. sometimes on it. they have a pinch protection with them. and again I have no idea what it is for. it is not in the instructions, it seems to be unique to this brand. because the search brought me back here. and it would be nice to get zero affinity for skin. but i think its close enough. In general, a homemade product is not bad. It was a bit more money than I really wanted to spend, but I wanted something with some quality because I have no idea how long it will last. Oh, and it came fully charged, which was nice. and the blade is difficult to take off, i thought i would break it the first time. and alignment also requires some effort. It would be nice if the case was waterproof to make it easier to clean, as far as I remember it isn't. So removing the blade is all you can really do. And I also noticed that some of the hair on the top of the head just wasn't cut. maybe he was too skinny? I am not sure.
