I had a terrible time beating the software but now that it's behind it it seems like a pretty good device. If I switched to "Custom" from a battery type that can't be changed, I have control over the settings. This unit has good solid binding posts which I've heard are very poor on most cheaper controllers with a large heatsink and appears to be of high quality. I plugged it in and charged my batteries for over a month and aside from the charging options which I haven't liked for a while but are working now this device works very well. I would give it another star if it had an equalization frequency setting. I have no idea how often it goes into alignment mode, but it's an important setting that should be there as custom, not here. I've added a video to give you a visual representation of my problem. Update: It's been a few years now and it suddenly stopped working the other day. Luckily I have insurance on it and they replace it so I suggest you do the same. Otherwise it was fine while it lasted.
