When it worked, it worked great! Simply set a higher power level for longer draws. Also very consistent. Although mine blew up in a week. He started smoking and was then shot. For the price, it wasn't even worth trying the RMA. However, I was messing around with the launcher and it was auto-launching 10 times in 2 seconds when it broke. Not very impressive that I collapsed that I put my hand in front of the ball and threw it back into the pitcher, tried to set the launch speed and it burned like nothing happened. It didn't break with normal use, but I still think it was poorly made to burn out because of it. However, I wouldn't hesitate to try a different one and see how it works. There aren't many good options for this type of product, so for the price it's decent. This is a very old model, my grandfather had the same one 20 years ago, exactly the same.
