These are nice bright lights but the remote and timer aren't very good. Night. There are no dice. They stay on for 6 hours after the timer is set, but they never turn on the next day. The remote will only work if you are less than 6 feet away and point it DIRECTLY at the battery. There's almost no point in having a remote control unless you put the battery in a hard-to-reach spot. Since the timer only turns the light off, not on, and the remote only works then, you have to go outside every night to turn it on and set the timer again. uncomfortable.
