Honest Review Good for Training Gloves

I bought these gloves as pocket gloves because they were relatively inexpensive and had good reviews. I have been boxing as an amateur for about 6 years so have had many different brands of gloves. This is my unbiased review. Gloves don't feel like premium material when you look at them, feel them and put them on. I like traditional boxing gloves that lift the forearm higher for more support and to block punches. They are small, more like MMA or Muay Thai. So if you're a pure boxer, you probably won't like them. The smell I read about is definitely correct. The inside of these gloves smells like fish. I've been using Febreze and dryer sheets for a week. It's still there, but not as strong. These gloves are very small. I bought 14 ounces and I don't have big hands. It's a tight fit with wraps. In addition, the foam of these gloves is very dense. As if I didn't want to get hit with them when sparring. So if you're looking for a sparring glove that won't annoy your training partners, go for the title or the ring instead. On the plus side, they look pretty cool and seem to hold up with just a bag and gloved hands after the first week.
