I woke up on Sunday with one of my worst fears. One of my aquariums leaked during the night and I lost about 30% of the water in the aquarium. Needless to say, my floor was wet. I threw down the towels but it wasn't enough. I've wrestled with this all day, even through home fans in the area, to see if it helps, but unfortunately it didn't. I bought this fan and installed it and within an hour it started drying out. I'm still using it in the same spot now, but I think another 30 minutes and you should be fine. I'm keeping it for a while though as there was a lot of water. I am very happy with this fan. It's a bit noisy but nothing serious, I don't really understand the complaints. I mean I flooded my floor for something so serious I didn't expect silence! I have several aquariums ranging in size from 150 gallon to 2 gallon nano aquariums. I hope I don't need it again, but I'm certainly glad I have it. I might buy another one just to be on the safe side.
