The AYAMAYA Experience Doesn't Quite Live Up to the Hype

I am someone who enjoys spending a lot of time in nature, so I was eager to check out the AYAMAYA online store to see what kinds of outdoor equipment they had available. On the other hand, my experience was not even close to being satisfactory. First and foremost, despite the fact that their prices may, at first glance, appear to be reasonable, the quality of the gear just did not meet expectations. My time spent camping was not nearly as enjoyable as it could have been due to the shoddy construction of the tents and the fragile zippers I was forced to deal with on a regular basis. On top of that, the customer service was not nearly as good as it could have been. I attempted to communicate my issues to their support service, but I was received with comments that were useless and dismissive of my worries. In its entirety, my encounter with AYAMAYA was one that left me feeling let down. Their goal of making outdoor activities available to everyone is a noble one; yet, they fell short in their execution of this goal. If you want outdoor gear that can withstand the elements and customer service that genuinely cares about your pleasure, I would suggest looking elsewhere for your needs in outdoor gear. I would recommend going elsewhere for your needs in outdoor gear if you want gear that can withstand the elements.

Pros
  • a determination to ensure that everyone is able to participate in outdoor activities and that they do so with pleasure.
Cons
  • There may be stock issues or lengthy shipping delays with certain items.
