Review on πŸŽ‹ Enhanced Wood Bamboo 3D Printing Filament by AMOLEN by Charles Collier

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Possibly the worst filament ever

Is this Revain's choice? This must be a joke. Print quality is terrible, and as a final insult, my Ender 3 nozzle clogged on my second print. The photo shows a simple detail that ended up being printed. In other words, it's an extrusion that sticks right out of the bed. I printed pre-release versions in another manufacturer's black PLA. There were no stretch marks and certainly no rough surfaces. I was shocked to see the results of using this walnut thread. I have a solid PLA profile that works great with all PLA products in my range from 3 different manufacturers. I use a similar profile for PLA+ but with a 5 degree increase in nozzle temperature. I thought about playing around with the settings to find something that would work better with this thread, but the quality was so poor I couldn't think of a single setting or two that would have a positive effect. As a note for Ender users, the spool is a bit odd when it comes into contact with the printer's filament spindle, and the spool does not spin freely if you've replaced the feed roll with one that has 3 ball bearings. You must reinstall your original spindle on the machine. And as a second note to all users, I also bought marble yarn from the same manufacturer and it works great. I will give this product a positive review after I print a few more copies.
