Possibly the worst filament ever

Is this Revain's choice? This must be a joke. Print quality is terrible, and as a final insult, my Ender 3 nozzle clogged on my second print. The photo shows a simple detail that ended up being printed. In other words, it's an extrusion that sticks right out of the bed. I printed pre-release versions in another manufacturer's black PLA. There were no stretch marks and certainly no rough surfaces. I was shocked to see the results of using this walnut thread. I have a solid PLA profile that works

Pros
  • HIGH PRODUCTIVITY: Winds neatly, melts well, feeds evenly and consistently with no nozzle or extruder clogging. AMOLEN PLA Filament is the choice of engineers, designers and everyone involved in 3D printing who demand only the best.

At first I was looking for a more expensive wooden spatula with a higher %. This stuff is 20% compared to the 30-40% I was looking for. Everything else was sold out. So this material was printed like a dream how cheap it is. it was wonderful. I really tried to keep it dry for many reasons, not just because the filament is hygroscopic. I didn't want the wood to be wet and crack when printed, which would result in pitting and stringing. Layer adhesion was excellent, so good that I've printed many

Extremely inconsistent

I'm not new to 3D printing nor new to wood filament. I've had good luck with Hatchbox and Sunlu as I've printed large projects from both. The woman wanted to make 12 decorative pieces for her project and really wanted a darker wood thread. I tried to persuade her to buy a sunroof box but she just didn't like the lighter color and she definitely didn't want to mess with stains. That's why we bought this. First a coil. It printed well enough that I figured I could adjust the profile, so we…
