We got a few of these for a birthday party. Having kids hammering away at this took up a good 30-45 mins. Well worth the mess it makes. We did this in our driveway and it just sprays off with a hose. Just to mention this, the picture shows a fully assembled dino being excavated.that will not be the case ;) These are individual plastic bone pieces. So if you have multiple kits make sure to keep them separate and organized or you will be experiencing a true paleontology dino puzzle (which is also cool if that is your thing)
