Poor quality control
I bought three of these. The first one wasn't a problem and I figured all the bad reviews were wrong. The second had a peeling coating and I had a hard time separating the two pieces as they were stuck together. Now I'm glad the magnets are just as strong, but a simple repack would solve this problem. The third came pre-rusty, yes I said rusty. Since they all went outside through the barn doors I didn't bother and installed it. The button fell apart after a few uses. This part snaps into place, so if you don't put it all the way in it will fall apart. I use a bigger hammer and solved this problem.
