An alarming phenomenon with so many products these days: you buy something that has worked fine for 7-10 years, you go online to buy a new one, find the same manufacturer and what looks like one and the same product - only to find out that it is a cheap fake of the real thing. It says Cuisinart, it says stainless steel, and it comes at a great price. It's nothing difficult to buy, is it? My first review was about how flimsy the basket and frame are. I felt the basket sag, not much at all. The situation is similar with stainless steel mesh: Where the original was solid, you can easily press a dent in the mesh with your finger. These are cheap Chinese fakes that use Cuisinart's name and design on the cover. I gave this set away and found a much better set at Costco for the same price. SMS about it.
