I've plugged it in for about 20 minutes and so far it's working fine. I'll update my post if it's out in the near future. At the moment it is connected to my Dell XPS 15 9560. Functionally everything is fine. However, this is not the same charger that I received with my XPS 15. They are the same shape, but the one that came with my computer has a shiny, possibly metallic, exterior. It's the matte/textured black plastic I've come to expect from most laptops. In addition, it was damaged. The insulation of the detachable cable that plugs into the wall is a bit worn. The wire is not enough, but obviously not new. The housing of the power supply also has several deep indentations. It will not pass as a "repaired" block with this type of damage. This was clearly just used, slightly abused and resold. Luckily I bought it to permanently install on my desk. This means I don't see any damage and the wire isn't regularly moved to do more damage. For this reason I will not return it unless it causes me more problems.
