I have a dog with a potential food allergy so we gave this one a try. She liked the food, but unfortunately we have to try something else because her vet thinks it could be an allergy to animal proteins. Apparently, even in different flavors, there are still many of the same proteins. As far as limited ingredient diet foods go, this brand is a lot more reasonable than some I've seen, coming in at 70 pounds. A GSD (plus three other large dogs) can get very expensive very quickly. There was nothing wrong with the food itself and I would have left it to her if the vet hadn't recommended her based on her condition.
