I'm happy with the features and sound quality, especially at this price point. But this amp has some really annoying features. I contacted Pyle support and they confirmed that it is. It's impossible to change it. I wanted to get this amp out of sight and out of reach. I wanted to control it exclusively via Bluetooth. Will not work. I can turn it on and off with a WiFi enabled outlet. But when it's powered on, it always starts up in line-in mode. I HAVE TO USE THE REMOTE OR THE PHYSICAL BUTTONS TO SELECT BLUETOOTH EVERY TIME I TURN IT ON. He doesn't remember turning on Bluetooth when I turned it off. Second, Bluetooth devices can adjust the volume. So I wanted to set the hardware volume controls loud enough and use the volume wheel on my phone to adjust the volume. I leave the controls on loud all the time. It works like this. But the amp makes a chirp when connected to the phone. And if your volume controls are turned really loud, that chirp will be really loud. You can't turn off Twitter or control the volume. When my music starts, it plays at a lower, acceptable volume. But that "chirp" when connecting to the phone is really loud. Third, since the remote is a traditional infrared remote, you must be in direct line of sight of the amplifier to use it. It doesn't matter that Bluetooth doesn't require line of sight, that stupid remote control does. I wanted to put the amp in a secluded spot where it wouldn't be visible, but then I wouldn't be able to use the remote control. Finally, you cannot pair your device with the amp while the amp is set to Bluetooth. In theory, they could have Bluetooth that's always listening, always ready to pair, and then the device automatically switches to Bluetooth when you start playing over Bluetooth. So electronically it's great. I like the feature set. But what interested me the most was Bluetooth, and this is where it really disappointed me.
