This was purchased because my first one restarted intermittently in the middle of the day and I hear the startup melody. Well, two days after I hooked this up, I started hearing that it does the same thing. I don't think they should stay in all day. And I really wish they would let you disable startup sounds because they're loud and annoying. If you plug a cable into the Aux port it will tell you, and if you unplug it it will tell you that you are back in Bluetooth mode. I'd rather have a device with an LED indicating this than a loud, obnoxious voice.
