They were easy to install. They helped keep the rain and wind off my feet. I used them for a weekend of 1000 miles in 40-50 degrees. I have also experienced occasional rain. Those were the tickets. Normally at times like this I have to wear leather stockings to keep my feet warm. Instead, I was able to spend the whole weekend in just jeans and a raincoat. All of the storage pockets inside didn't get wet either. I would recommend them to everyone. Aside from being a bit dirty, they look exactly the same as the day they arrived.
