This is my second, the first lasted a couple of years then the cables to the headphones started to wear out and I lost the sound in my left ear. But a few years of swimming 1-3 times a week is still a good run for a headset, so I bought a second one. The earbuds on this model have been improved over the first model, so they fit better and are easier to protect against water ingress. The battery life is great, I only have to charge it once a month for around 10 hours of playtime (at least). I once tried a bluetooth swimming headset and quickly found that they don't work well in the water because they interfere with the bluetooth signal, so this type of mp3 player was a must have. The MP3 player is very easy to use - just plug it into a USB port like a memory stick and drag and drop. The only thing to be aware of is that the headphone covers can slip off, especially if you use them in a pool where everything is wet. I recommend putting them on as soon as you know what size will suit you best. I did this with my first and after that they were great. I didn't get over this fast enough and lost one of the covers almost immediately, but I wrote to the company and they had excellent customer service and sent me new ones. In general, swimming with tunes is much better than without, and I'm glad I can do that with minimal effort and expense with this headset.
