Come on chemists, you always have great stuff, but these sponges, no way! When first used with Chemical Guys Tire Kicker Extra Glossy Tire Shine, the black side of these sponges fell apart completely! Maybe I misunderstood their purpose - maybe they are only meant for one use and then are meant to be thrown away because that's what I did to them. I used them just before the show and the shine on my Nitto Dune 35 inch grippers and there were little black crumbling bits of sponge everywhere including on my clothes. I have NOT used them aggressively because it tends to build up tire shine in the grooves. I actually used them very carefully to evenly apply Tire Shine. Of course I threw them in the trash and immediately went back to my tried and true method of application - applying the product thoroughly with a good 2" paint brush, which I've used for years to evenly apply tire shine to the grooves of the sidewall construction! Too bad I did before didn't take a picture of throwing it away!
