Review on ACDelco 15235418 Original Equipment Control by Chris Pollreisz

I received an estimate for this part from my local GM dealer for over $400 (I was told the retail price was over $500). You still have to program this device so the labor cost is small, but the device is no different than what you get from the dealer. Programming is not a do-it-yourself job as it requires an expensive GM-specific tool. However, you can save some work by removing the body panels yourself so the technician can reach them. My Aztek has the module hidden under the radio and requires taking the entire console apart to properly access it. I saved about 2 hours of work by doing it myself.
