We use this because we have an elderly Beagle who sometimes has bladder problems in the middle of the night. It's set to cover our stairs to catch it coming down and when triggered it plays 'Who let the dogs out!' on my Echo bedside table for 1 minute with a procedure that only activates at night becomes. Works great for that! This is wrong sometimes, especially when we have a fan throughout the house. But even our home security system sometimes does this when there is a sudden rise in temperature, so it's hard to understand them. However, it recently went offline. It usually found its way back, but the other day I had to open it up and take out the battery to turn it back on. Hopefully this isn't a recurring problem that requires warranty intervention. In this review, I'm not going to talk about how bad the app is overall, but once you're done pairing it, I rarely use it anyway.
