After fully charging the battery as recommended in the manual before first use, I tried inflating the Intex Stargaze Tube. After inflating, I decided to use a pump to deflate the hose, but noticed while deflating that the motor seemed to die. Before significant deflation occurred, the pump was already dead and needed to be recharged. INADMISSIBLE! I bought this to inflate two Intex airbags and it barely inflated one in one charge. To make matters worse, I shipped this item overseas and I would probably pay more than the item itself was worth to send it back. Now I'm stuck with a pump that can't do the main reason it was bought. I don't know if the unit I received was defective but based on my experience with this pump I would advise against anyone buying it. Updated Wednesday April 10; In response to anyone who might think the pump wasn't properly charged prior to my first attempt, I have tried using this pump a second and third time, charging the device overnight each time, with the same results each time . He pumped up 1 Intex Stargaze and when attempting to deflate the hose the motor stalled shortly after and the hose had to be manually deflated. So I have two options. I either throw this pump in the trash where it belongs or I leave it as a paperweight.
