Great for cycling! - Outdoor Recreation

I first bought this hydrator for my upcoming trip to Arizona. I ended up using it at a cycling event in my city and was very impressed with the performance of the product. Before using the bag, my biggest concern was whether it would be easy to use and comfortable enough for a 15-mile bike ride. Luckily, the nozzle was easy to drink and could be blocked while driving after use. If you are looking for a practical, lightweight and easy to use hydration pack I would say this product is a great…

Everything we needed and more!

Excellent product from a great company. We first bought them to stay hydrated during ski season and to carry some snacks with us. Now we use them for everything, they work great, withstand a lot of use and meet all our needs. Not only that, we bought 2 of these separately as we wanted different colors and when we received them they were slightly different. It wasn't a problem at all, but we were just curious as to why they are different. We contacted WaterBuffalo and they responded quickly and…

Great product worth the money. I look forward to using it for a long time.

Received yesterday and ridden a bike in the morning. It was very light and a lot easier than reaching for a water bottle and then putting it back in the holder while driving. I can highly recommend the product. My only suggestion would be to the company, it would be great if a quick guide was included. This is somewhat self-explanatory, but it takes beginners a while to figure out that the pipe goes through the top of the armrest - I was looking for, or expecting, a specific hole that the pipe…

The seal was broken, leaking.

I had high hopes that this would be a backpack that we could use for hiking and dog walking in the summer. It can carry a dog bowl, treats, long leash, etc. This is a VERY small backpack. Check customs. You can't put a regular size bath towel in this backpack when there is water in it, which is a special purpose. I mention this because I think buyers will be surprised, not because I gave it one star. We took it out of the packaging and tried it out right away. It leaked everywhere. The valve or

I very rarely write reviews but thought Water Buffalo deserved a review.

I rarely write reviews but I think Water Buffalo deserves a review. Functionality, this water bag fulfills its purpose. It is compact and well made to withstand damage. I took this bad boy on a trip to Colorado where I fell on my back many times while snowboarding and the water tank stayed intact. The capacity of the water reserve backpack is 2 liters, which is enough for outdoor activities. As for the bags. I found the compartments very useful for storing my sunglasses, snacks and gloves…

Straw shut-off valve broke after only 3 months.

Opening and closing values of the mouthpiece have always been too small and difficult to move. The little lip on the value you rest your thumb on for open/close just finally cracked in half. So the value is fully open and cannot be closed. This means that every time you fill the backpack, the water will overflow from the straw unless you hold it higher than the backpack itself. It also means that during carry every time you lean forward to pick something up from the ground, water flows from the

Not bad for a first model, though.

I would like to see a longer zipper for the body of the water bag. The device has too many seams to allow for this at the moment. Also the screw on the cap for the water bottle is a little smaller, if you don't have a break at the faucet, there is a chance of water spilling on your backpack. As far as bungee storage goes, it won't do me any good, it might hold a t-shirt in place, but anything small will likely fall out at significant gaps between the bungee cord. I would have preferred to have…

Just spend $20 on a good one

I ordered this backpack thinking the protection in place would be short lived so got a cheaper backpack to run with. Now, after a few weeks of use, I can say with certainty that I should have chosen a different option. First I ordered a black backpack but received a blue one. Then I noticed the right hose clamp was missing, I wasn't sure when I first got it because I was just opening it but after a few runs where the hose hit me and wouldn't stay in place, I checked the amazon posted and saw…
