Review on Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season 235/60 R18 103H by Adam Rymko ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

I bought a UAZ "Patriot" with Pirelli Scorpion Verde All-season 245/60 R18 tires already installed on it on standard wheels. Before changing to winter tires, I drove 5200 km on Pirelli. In a variety of conditions and in general, impressions of her are only positive. The city behaves confidently, predictably and flawlessly. But the best test was the autumn trip from Hong Kong to Hong Kong and back. On the track at a cruising speed of 90-100 km / h it behaves perfectly, does not require “taxiing”, no tendency to aquaplaning has been noticed. When entering a puddle, the trajectory of movement is preserved, the car does not pull to the side. The section from Dzhubga to Hong Kong, 170 km along the "serpentine" passed easily, the tires behave on these endless turns, descents and ascents to a solid five. And I was driving back along the "serpentine" in the downpour and I can note that the rubber "kept" the road as well as when traveling on dry asphalt. For several days at the beginning of winter, I traveled through the city on snow and slush with water. On water with snow it’s pretty decent, but ice is definitely contraindicated for her. Here you should not count on "all-weather", unless of course you are going to operate this "rubber" in its historical homeland, Italy)))

Pros
  • Holds the road well. Good handling and behavior on wet roads. Not noisy.
Cons
  • With regard to highway tires, this is more of a nitpick, but you should not move off the road on it.)
