Review on 🎨 Fredrix Art Canvas 63373500 Tara Round Cut Edge Canvas Panel, 12" - Pack of 6: Premium Quality, Round Edged Artist's Canvas Boards for Professional Art Projects by Wendy Rodriguez

Presumably suitable for brush application, but not suitable for the pouring technique.

They are very thin. I do fluid art that pours resin and most of my work is incredibly "wet" by day and sometimes more. These canvases and the cardboard they are mounted on are so thin that they will warp as they dry. In order for my artwork to be wall mountable and of a quality I would be happy to sell, I had to mount the finished art canvases to an acid free archival quality foam board and press overnight. and then in the morning, when the glue was dry, i had to trim the edges of the foam core to make the hard, now strong backing fit the round shape of the 12 inch screens. I'm sure these round canvases could work really well for people using acrylics or oil and brushes, but my flow technique is too wet for these thin canvases to hold up without warping and adding extra support after the fact. As you can see in the first picture showing the 3 pieces I've done on these canvases so far, you can see how the warping has already started after about half an hour of wet paint on the canvas. When they are completely dry , the canvases have almost split in half, like a taco shell. Glue and styrofoam were my only saving grace once I finished the job. Canvases should be presentable. After cutting the foam core around the edges of the round canvases I added a thin layer of resin to not only cover and protect the painting but also to allow it to drain sideways and hopefully help with the foam core and thin to seal canvas. as a whole so that it doesn't work out later.
