Made in China, Nuff said.

The legs are made of hard plastic, not soft rubber, so they slide all over the table. The board uses the same built-in cutting angle as the larger scissors. The alignment ruler is very thin and is not attached to the board or blocked in any way. The paper clip attached to the cutter arm should reach every 18 inches, but it only cuts 11 inches of paper. The HANDLE is not attached and you SHOULD NOT squeeze it fully into your hand as the hand will then cut no further than 16.5 inches and snap onto the pin. I had to laboriously tap the handle back about 0.5 inches for it to fully close and lock into place. I just cut a few test sheets and it did cut, but I'm not very happy with the design or the finish. Another design Amazon has to steal and tweak to improve and sell for less. Update: I used it to cut out some small booklets and the "blade" (not a blade actually) was already dull and messed up the last booklet I tried to cut. It was only 10 sheets thick and is supposed to cut cleanly through 12 sheets. I did a test and it barely cuts through a sheet without fraying the edges. waste of money.

Pros
  • Scissors and paper blades
Cons
  • Small parts
