After much searching and studying security cameras I came across this one. Since everyone has different camera needs, you may or may not find it for yourself. Our goal with this camera was simply to use it to keep an eye on our elderly dog while we're away from home. With the help of the phone application we can go, open the application and watch what he is doing (sleeping). It adds to the nice peace of mind that he has no problems while we're away. When we get home we just turn on the privacy feature and the shutter closes. It was the killer feature we wanted. When I'm not using I don't want the camera to be on and "looking". Now for how the camera works. Works well with good video quality. Has night vision (which works great) and you can eavesdrop in the room. We do not use a motion sensor as the dog will be triggered when it moves. You can also "talk" through the camera, but that's also a feature we don't use. We are very happy with the quality of the camera and the ease of use of the Android app. Installation was very quick and easy. Installed and started in less than 30 minutes. Install on 2 Android phones and 1 iPad. We don't use cloud storage and really don't see the need for it in this configuration. We got it to keep an eye on our dog while she's away and she's perfect for that. To go further, we simply order a Myfox home security system and plan to use it for more traditional home security. We will integrate the camera into this system as soon as we receive it. I will post a review of this product as soon as it is released.
