3 counter trips, 3 lost freezers full of groceries. Not today! Writing a review after this gem saved about $400 in goodies. I have a cycle that comes on from time to time for some reason. I've replaced the breaker, replaced the sockets, but everything is still clapping. Each time it cost me a giant freezer full of groceries, about $400. I bought several wireless alarms but they refused to sync so I returned them and took 2 of them just in case. Today I saved $400 since we could hear them roaring slightly from the second floor of the house in the garage. The switch went off again but no problem, switched it back on and we're fine for 6 more weeks until he decides to go on strike again. It's easy to set up and quite noisy, I only found 1 downside. I would prefer a bracket on the back of the case so I can screw it to the wall (velcro doesn't hold up very well). For others, they may not be loud enough for basement use. They're loud, but obviously not loud giant sirens. I am VERY happy with my two, both worked exactly as they should and saved me a lot.
