I've heard good things about ozonizers that can eliminate the most objectionable organic odors (like cigarette smoke in the home). My buddy used an industrial one to get the stink out of his new apartment and it worked. I didn't expect such a result from this device, but the results didn't live up to even my lower expectations. It might have helped if there had been stats and comparisons, not just usage. It says it's good for duffel bag stink, so we used it on our kids' shoes. 5 minutes brought very little. Half an hour something has changed. I wrapped them in a bag and let them sit for another half hour and the shoes smelled a lot less, but I'd say the Arm & Hammer spray was more effective. Fabreeze is better too, but both have the potential to have the worst floral or other obnoxious artificial flavors. The Ozone machine leaves only a neutral, odorless finish. The user interface isn't the easiest, despite the Apple-style design. I figured it out pretty quickly, but I saw how frustrating it can be for someone unfamiliar with electronics.
