I needed new sewing scissors after my old one broke, I used to use Singer but chose to only use them because I have a previous Mr. Pen and was happy with it (T- Ruler). What really surprised me is how light they are, I was expecting them to be a lot heavier. They are also very comfortable in hand, I don't feel much pressure on my thumb when using them. A big bonus was the packaging, it absolutely hassle free! It only has a small clip on top holding it together, you don't need scissors to open the new pair of scissors! As for their main cutting function, they do their job well.
