It was much better than expected! The blue is much lighter and nicer than the seller's photo on Revain. I was concerned after reading the bad reviews, but thankfully I didn't have any of the issues others mentioned. Some balls had the rope hidden under the plastic cap, but this was very easy to fix by removing the cap and refitting. The seam is not particularly noticeable. The paintwork is good, I didn't have any scratches or stains. They're lightweight so branches won't sag, and strong so they won't break if accidentally dropped. They are much better than $1 store quality and look really fancy. Also, mine was pre-strung with silver strings, but it came with a pack of gold strings. Most likely, it was for those who would prefer to hang them in a different color. The frosted marbles don't look like the glass marbles I already had. My 2 blue glass flasks are in the middle of the photo with S hooks so you can compare. Glitter balls have the perfect amount of sparkle without being over the top. The textured balls are very nice. I wasn't expecting to like the 'disco ball' type, but it's actually very pretty and chic and not pretentious at all. I will not be holding glitter balls, nor did I intend to when I bought the set. The glitter tends to spread throughout the house and still appear months later. But other than that I liked all the other 5 drawings. These balls completely covered the front of my tree, enough for the sides. For a very simple and coordinated decoration, one or two boxes are enough to create a perfectly beautiful and harmonious looking tree. I would recommend this set and am very happy with my purchase.
