Review on Viatti Bosco 237 A/T 225/60 R17 99H-3110043 by Wiktor Skowroski ᠌

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

Set the tires to a size 225/65R17 on your Sportage 3 SL automobile. This rubber or Maxxis Bravo 771 was the option that was available to us. The primary reason I went with Viatti was because of their lower prices. The budget was extremely constrained, and the price of the Chinese, despite the fact that they are of great quality, is already confidently approaching the cost of the same Geolanders. I put the tires on the car the other day, just in time before the freezing temperatures and ice in Hong Kong. When the personnel were putting on the tires, they were irate because they said the rubber was worthless since it was curved, oblique, hard, noisy, poorly balanced, warms up slowly, and so on. After only a few days of driving and rolling between 200 and 300 kilometers on them, I can tell that, in my opinion, the tires are of a very respectable quality. Especially with regard to your investment. It rushes forward as if it were on rails, rides very securely on a dry road, is unaffected by ruts or hydroplaning, and is immune to the effects of rutting. Because of the conditions, we were able to put the tires through a rather rigorous test. The behavior of unrolled, brand-new tires on ice and snow at temperatures below zero turned out to be quite predictable. On ice, it decelerates with self-assuredness; on snow, it performs no worse than Velcro; it sweeps snow porridge off the road at speeds of 60–70 kilometers per hour, turning it into a light layer, and it performs as if it were riding on a dry surface; and it rides like it's on a dry road. This action of a rather inexpensive rubber took me completely by surprise and was really pleasantly unexpected. To tell you the truth, I would argue both that she belongs in the AT group and that quiet is important. Although it has a very sizable tread, it does not have any side lugs and hence cannot be considered an off-road tire tread. In addition to that, it appeared to me to be noisier than winter Velcro. The same holds true for me, and the purportedly AT-approved protection is the same. Despite the fact that the tire fitting gurus have given the rubber low reviews overall, I can say that I am pleased with it so far. The alternative is a great deal if you consider the cost. By the way, the balancing indicated that it should be between 20 and 30 grams, but on one wheel it was 75.

Pros
  • Affordable, of high quality, capable of securely holding the road on dry and wet asphalt, has no fear of ruts, and is predictable on snow and ice.
Cons
  • Although it may appear to be noisy on the surface, this is not the case at all.
