Complete and Complete Fraud

This product contains 30ml of Colloidal Silver as the only 'active' ingredient. Colloidal silver can be dangerous, causing irreversible silver deposits in the skin that can cause argyria. Also, silver can bind to and deactivate proteins and enzymes in the body. This can lead to brain and liver damage. In addition, the manufacturers of this product position it as safe for pregnant and lactating women. Please DO NOT take this if you are pregnant as silver can cross the placenta and affect the development of the baby's brain and blood vessels. This is a complete snake oil. For goodness sake, they literally say it will cure autism. THIS IS A LIE FOR EVERYONE! Silver is antimicrobial and has some anti-cancer effects. The antimicrobial effect occurs because silver can bind to and denature proteins and enzymes, leading to the death of bacterial cells. Unfortunately, it can do the same to your cells. As an anti-cancer agent, silver stops the growth of new blood vessels, meaning tumors don't get enough blood supply to keep growing. However, the same effect is potentially very dangerous for developing embryos, as the ability to form new blood vessels means the unborn child cannot grow normally. Look up thalidomide if you want to see the effect of limiting blood vessel growth in unborn babies. NONE of the effects of silver work in the body. All antimicrobial and anticancer effects have been studied in vitro in non-living systems. When a drug enters the body, its behavior can be quite different than it would be in a non-living system. Please do not believe claims that are potentially harmful and are NOT backed by any safety or efficacy studies. Sources for those interested Fung MC, Bowen DL.
