I purchased this flashlight after my wife disapproved of one of the emergency lights which did not have insect eyes and felt too bulky for the location i installed it. I found this one and what a difference! We both like that it takes up very little space. I liked the ease of installation and the ability to direct the light where needed. We have frequent power outages in Puerto Rico, so I wanted to install my lights in common areas and stairwells. As you can see from the picture, this light provides enough light to keep me and my family safe. Can't comment on the battery life yet as we haven't had any major power outages and I don't want to manually start it myself. On the negative side, I can say that the indicator light is very bright. I covered mine with a LightDim decal and it's much better now.
