The idea was good, but the execution left a lot to be desired. Let me say I bought the clear version. It performed well, even around tight corners (time will tell if the compound holds up around the corner), but the glue isn't always where it's shown. Some of them are NOT on the side of the channel that will be covered by the door edge during installation, but in the curved part, and some have migrated to the outside of the channel. It is therefore clearly visible when the door is closed. When the door is closed, around 30-40% is visible on all four edges of the doors, and in some places you can really feel it. Not a good view. Not satisfied with this product. Updated 03/23/2021. It rained today and moisture has accumulated under the clear plastic along its entire length, making it invisible and the defect more obvious. Thankfully, it's returned using Revain's return policy. Unfortunately I don't get all my time back to install it. That time is over. I will order the clear edging tape that Revain offers and install it. More wasted time.
