Make sure you have the right type of vent

I think the design suits some types of vent but it doesn't work very well for me. As you can see in the attached video, my vent rotates from side to side and when the phone is in the mount and I make a sharp left turn at over 15 mph, the weight of the phone in the mount causes the Ventilation opening folds out. , which means I have to constantly adjust the mount so I can see the phone. It's a bit annoying.
